Geodining is the starting place to find where to eat using your GPS receiver. When you're traveling and it is near meal time you need to know where to eat and you don't want the same old Mc Donalds or Burger King (you can eat at those anytime) the small hole in the wall restaurants are always more exciting. Eating somewhere new should be part of the travel experience .

Each listing has a rating for price range, level of service, the GPS coordinates, the country, state, province, territory, etc where it can be found and a brief description of the restaurant. Please do not include large chain restaurants eg Chillis, Mc Donalds as most people can find these on their own and you can eat at those places anytime.

The ratings are as follows

note dollar amounts are US for countries using other currencies use you best judgment to select a price range

*          less than $5.00
**        $5.00 - $15.00
***       $15.00 - $25.00
****     $25.00 - $35.00
*****    more than $35.00

Service level


If your in a hurry to get to on the road the lower service levels are useuly faster. The higher service levels take more time and are more satable to eat at after the long day of traveling done.

*           You have to go up to a window place you order and pick it up yourself
**         You have to place you order at a window but they will bring your food to you when it is ready
***       A server will come to your table but the restaurant is seat yourself
****     A host or hostess will seat you and a server will come to your table
*****   High class restaurant with wine steward, guy with pepper grinder, etc,etc
